That really sucks. They should at least raise the price on them. Take away the travel and lodging, there's still the entrance fee and parking. How can you truly call something and SDCC or I guess (convention) excl. if it is sold through the company elswhere?

I think it's great that some companies are doing that. There are lots of people who can't make it to San Diego for lots of different reasons, and it's great that SOTA is giving them the chance to own these figures as well.
